MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT.

Our membership recruitment, under the leadership of Soror Utrena Johnson, incoming Vice President of Membership, is an ongoing effort through our National Membership Expansion Plan (NMEP) made available to qualified women who meet and/or exceed the minimum requirements found here.

Her efforts of fresh membership acquisition strategies gives us a way to move forward with intentionality.

Our mission is predicated on sincere, honest and transparent sisterhood, faith based relationship building opportunities, and love.

 

Our drive is amplified through the shared experiences found in each member and enthusiasm to share those said experiences corporately. Please take a moment to learn about Soror Johnson, our NMEP, and what you can expect next.

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP

Initiated October 2021 through NL-Kappa, known as Mane Event in Eta Land, Soror Johnson is full steam ahead in research and strategy about our dynamics, nuances, areas of opportunity and more when it comes to our membership and our efforts of recruitment.

 

You can expect to see her front and center during her tenure as a national officer. Her background and faith in God warrants her gifts of value add to this Sorority.

About Dr. Johnson

Utrena Johnson, an ordained Elder, and mother of three understands firsthand how limited opportunities could dwarf one’s view of limitless possibilities.

 

Refusing to allow geographic or mundane thinking to define her present or shape her future, Kershaw set course on a journey to rise above her circumstance. As a method to rebuke the negative comments of a local police officer during her sophomore year of college, Johnson wrote her first professional play, “Lord Lift Us Up”, and it was then she came to understand the power of telling a story and how it could divinely mold the destiny of those experiencing it.

 

In 1998, that beginning sparked a journey where Kershaw founded Utrena J Productions and has written and produced forty-five gospel stage plays to date...

Note: Interested women who do not reside in a state highlighted above are still considered for membership.

NMEP: Official end-to-end framework that outlines the standard in membership intake, also known as RUSH. This framework comprises multiple steps strategically designed to facilitate a safe, productive, and rewarding installation of new members into the Sorority.

NMEP: Outlines requirements that all national, district, regional, state, and chapter-level members are to follow to reach the goals of membership acquisition while providing direction for geographical expansion and guidance for promised results.

Members, under the guidance of the Vice President of Membership, will host various social and service events in order to give interested ladies an opportunity to  see what we do and who we are.

INTEREST MEETINGS

Members, under the guidance of the Vice President of Membership, will host both in-person and virtual interest meetings in order to provide information for informed membership decision-making.

SPECIAL INVITATIONS

Members, under the guidance of the Vice President of Membership, will extend formal invitations to interested ladies who formally decide, in writing, to move forward and engage in additional activities.

Interested ladies will be given priority in membership consideration who attend and participate in 90% of scheduled activities.

Interested ladies, with priority membership consideration, will be invited to attend an exclusive membership interest meeting. They have attended and participated in 90% of scheduled activities, and have expressed interest in writing.

They have attended an exclusive membership interest meeting, attended and participated in 90% of scheduled activities, expressed interest in writing, and who have passed all other vetting processes.
